Raised Ramp Inspection

Consisting of hundreds of checks on a ramp, this element of the MOT includes a thorough visual inspection of your vehicle.

Emmissions Test

Ensuring your vehicle meets the current environmental standards, the Emissions Test forms an essential part of MOT Testing.

You will need to get an MOT test once your vehicle is three years old, and then annually thereafter. Please note that certain vehicles such as taxis require an MOT more frequently, so ensure you check gov.uk for more information.

While the MOT test is essential for ensuring your vehicle meets safety and environmental standards, it’s important to remember that there are many components that aren’t covered in this assessment. Items such as the engine oil, brake fluid, and air filters are not tested during an MOT, yet they play a vital role in your vehicle’s overall performance and reliability. Regular maintenance of these components can prevent breakdowns and costly repairs down the line, making it crucial to adopt a proactive approach to vehicle care. By scheduling routine checks and services, you ensure that your vehicle remains in optimal condition, providing you with peace of mind as you navigate the roads.
